Started as a basic firefighter, emergency medical technician in 1993.
After completing paramedic school in 1996, was promoted to lieutenant and placed in charge of an advanced life support engine company.
In 1998 was promoted to captain and named emergency medical services director, and have served as representative to the state office
of EMS for region three’s CQI committee, I have also served as liaison for our county and state offices of emergency management, and held a position on the homeland security taskforce. I am currently a shift supervisor and in charge of all daily department operations.

Served as a part time or prn paramedic, treating life threatening emergencies and non-life threatening injuries and illnesses in the field environment and insuring safe transportation to a medical facility for further medical care. I also worked provided onsite medical care for motor sport events.

Started as a part time emergency medical technician, after paramedic school completion was promoted to captain and named director. I served on the state EMS council for region one. I was responsible for budgeting, staffing, payroll, safety compliance and the daily operations for the service.
